Postalloy® PS136-MCO

Postalloy® PS136-MCO is a large diameter high hardness multi-carbide hardfacing alloy that resists severe abrasion, including high stress grinding, low stress scratching and gouging abrasion. It maintains its hardness and wear resistance up to 1400°F (750°C). The chemistry is highly tolerant of dilution. One layer will easily outwear two layers of ordinary chrome carbides and in some applications the wear is equal to tungsten carbide. Use on low carbon mild steel, manganese, stainless, and low alloy steels. Larger diameter wire is generally more alloy rich than smaller diameter wire.
