Postalloy® 2991-SA

Postalloy® 2991-SA is a low alloy submerged-arc build-up wire with very good resistance to impact, compression loading, and plastic deformation. It can also be used as a base layer for harder, more wear resistant products like Postalloy® 2992-SA or Postalloy® 2993-SA.. Also good when an easily machined "as welded" deposit is required. Use on carbon and low alloy steels.

Postalloy® 2991-SA contains small amounts of refined submerged-arc flux in the core of the wire, greatly helping slag release, especially when welding highly preheated parts.
