Postalloy®213 Flux-coated Electrode
Postalloy®213 is a solid core general purpose hardfacing electrode that offers an excellent balance of abrasion resistance and impact strength. Deposits have a low coefficient of friction and provide good resistance to corrosion and heat, 1200°F (649°C). Postalloy®213 is excellent for components subject to impact, metal to metal wear and low stress abrasion. Carbide disbursement is consistent throughout the deposit providing a uniform hardness. Postalloy®213 operates at relatively low operating current, minimizing heat input into the base metal and reducing the dilution of the deposit into the base metal, maximizing the deposits wear and impact resistance characteristics.
